New EMS Specialty Programs Nurse Coordinator


The EMS Agency is pleased to announce the selection of Anne Marcotte as our new EMS Specialty Programs Nurse Coordinator, effective November 16, 2009. The EMS Specialty Programs Nurse Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and management of the trauma, STEMI, Stroke, EMS for Children Systems, and quality management of various aspects of clinical care within the Santa Clara County Emergency Medical Services System.

Anne has been serving as the Interim EMS Specialty Programs Nurse Coordinator since July of 2009. Since 2007, Anne has served as the Quality Management Coordinator for the EMS Agency developing and implementing the EMS Quality Improvement Program, assisted in the design, development and monitoring of the STEMI System and Stoke System.

Anne brings with her over forty-one years of nursing experience in various venues including critical care, emergency department, nursing management, and in EMS system regulation. She is an active member of California Emergency Nurses Association Loma Prieta Chapter. In 2002, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing. In her free time, Anne likes to bake, walk with her dog and spend time with her six-year old grandson, her daughter and son in law.
